Introduction to the Online Catalog ONE's catalog is very much a work in progress, being the result of twelve years of all-volunteer labor by many hands. Some records are minimal, many lack subject headings, and a significant number of the books are not yet in the catalog at all.
The Annotation is one feature you will not find in other library catalogs. This arose from the highly opinionated comments of our founder Jim Kepner, and has been developed to include useful information from the item that would not otherwise get into the cataloging, as well as plot summaries, themes and settings, comments about the history of an important book (film, etc.) or its author --sometimes, the less-than-obvious reason why the item is in the collection-- or its relationship to other books.
